Q. |
How
do I view data for a specific date range? |
|
A. |
The first screen you see
when clicking on Basic Device Info, Events and Data Log gives you
the following options: viewing the last 20 rows (this is the
fastest way to view the information), or viewing information from
the last day or from the last week. You can also view data for a
specific date range, click on the button
next to “Start Date“ and “End Date“. A calendar window
will open in which you can specify the dates. When you click on
“Show for date range” below the table, it will refresh with
the data for those dates.
|
|
Q. |
I
want to view information for a wide date range, but I want the
information to show up faster. |
|
A. |
The best way to do this
is to select a small date range starting at the date you are
interested in. then use the next button to continue viewing
additional records.
|
|
Q. |
How
can I choose the amount of tabular data I can see on one page? |
|
A. |
The default number of
rows is 20, but you can change that number in the box between the
Next and Previous buttons.
|
|
Q. |
Can
I see the details of a specific measurement in the Basic Device
Info screen? |
|
A. |
In order to view details
of a specific reading, click on the date/time of the record you
want to view. A details screen will open.
|
|
*Q. |
When
I want to view a graph I get a security warning. What do I do? |
|
A. |
This warning asks you if
want to install the “……/CabFiles/……” file. Click on
“yes” to enable viewing of graphs.
|
|
Q. |
Can
I see a trend for a specific measurement? |
|
A. |

|
|
Q. |
How
can I create custom trends? |
|
A. |
From the Trends menu
select “Create Trends”, choose up to 3 parameters to plot in
one graph for up to 4 graphs at a time. One of the 3 parameters
can be associated with the right axis by checking the checkbox to
its right. You can choose a 2 Dimensional or 3 Dimensional graph
and whether or not to include lines representing the minimum,
maximum, and average points for each parameter and whether or not
to include gridlines in the graph.
You can also optionally choose a background color for the
graph, a title and a date range for the data to be plotted. Click
on “Create Graph” to view the graph. (This graph is not saved
after viewing).

|
Q. |
How
do I zoom? |
|
A. |
Once the graphs are
displayed, you can zoom in to a part of the graph by holding down

mouse button and, maintaining the mouse button pressed, drag the
mouse in the desired direction. When you release the mouse button
the graph will remain at the new location.
Currently, there are only 2 pages of data for the trends
and 1 for the waveforms. In
the future, you will be able to get more data from this screen on
demand
|
|
Q. |
What
if I want to see only individual parameters at one time?
|
|
A. |
You can turn off any of
the parameters on the graph by unchecking the check box next to

Q. |
How
can I view Waveforms? |
|
A. |

|
Q. |
Which
data logs can I view? |

Q. |
What
does Load Profile show me? |
|
A. |

– shows the energy readings for each day of the current month by
default, calculating the power factor and totals. A bar graph of
the values is opened up in another window. You can change the
month and year from either the graph window or the main table
window.
